Procedure / Policy Overview
Procedure to take when a maintenance client needs to re-join the program due to breaking out again which will be determined after conducting a troubleshooting call.
|
-
When to do a new consultation will be determined by the coach. Possible indicators for the new consult:
-
Determine how long they've been off active ingredient products for (ie Acne Med, Mandelic/Glycolic or Vitamin A serum).
-
Not following the full maintenance regimen for 6mos or more.
-
If there has been significant change in the client's health history since their last consultation.
-
They do not seem to remember the important concepts such the diet changes, need for herbal supplements, using makeup and hair care with non-pore clogging ingredients.
-
**Note if you don't feel a consult is not needed
-
When to have a client fill out a new Health Questionnaire. Possible indicators include:
-
A client will need to fill out a new HQ if it’s a maintenance client from the old cc and they need to move into Clear Connection 2.0.
-
A client will need to fill out a new HQ if they will be doing another consultation.
-
A client will need to fill out a new HQ if the coach determines they need an updated HQ from the client.
|
Determining what week the maintenance client will re-start the program will be decided by the coach. General recommendations on where to restart a client at:
-
Acne Med will be driver to determine where to start
-
If they had not been using any Acne Med or actives - start at Weeks 1-2
-
-
If the client has been following their maintenance regimen correctly and using Acne Med every other night, their current regimen steps will determine where they need to start. Consider these scenarios when determining where to start a client:
-
Find out what products they are using and how often they are using them.
-
Determine what weeks in the program this is equivalent to and start them in the program again one check-in ahead of where they are currently.
-
Make the regimen changes that correlates with the weeks in the program that you just determined they are in.
-
If they are not on a regimen that exactly matches a certain week in the program, then just use Acne Med as your determining factor. For example, they are only using Acne Med once a week but using Toner every day and night, then take them back to Weeks 1-2.
-
-
If a client is using 10% Acne Med 1-2 times per day and exfoliating serum 1-2 times per day and has signification breakouts, you will need to:
-
Determine if there are changes to make with diet, supplements, lifestyle or if a medication is the cause.
-
Possibly reduce their regimen or change the type of exfoliant being used since you cannot change the concentration of the product.
-
Discuss with your Manager as these are more complicated scenarios

**Please note that these are all general rules to follow but everything should be considered as a case by case basis. Always discuss with a manager for further questions and direction.
