Here is an example of a client that filed a dispute, but then removed the dispute:
Message from NAC to the Client:
Disputes are pretty complicated. Even though you have removed the dispute, the credit card processor and your bank are still holding us accountable until all evidence has been reviewed. So even when you removed the dispute, the dispute is not 'closed' or finalized. We have submitted evidence to the credit card processor to send to your bank as standard procedure, including communications from you stating that the dispute has been removed.
We need to go thru this process regardless of if you have removed the dispute or not. Finalizing or closing the dispute often takes a few months, regardless if you have removed the dispute or not, and regardless if we as a business are in the wrong or not.
In the meantime, you can choose to use the credit on your account, which is available immediately. Here is a screenshot from our credit card processor.
If a client files a dispute with their credit card company, discontinue communication with the client, and provide the credit card company with any necessary information. The credit card will be in contact once they have made their decision. This process often takes month to be resolved.
