Description: The goal of this formula is to naturally restore normal bowel function without creating dependency on laxatives when combined with the Bowel Revitilizer. 

 

The herbs in this formula will work to re-stimulate regular bowel movements, tone colon muscles, restore peristalsis, calm inflammation and relax areas of tension in the large intestine.

  • Cascara Sagrada (Rhamnus purshiana) - known as a bitter herb.  This bowel wall tonic stimulates contraction of smooth muscle in colon

    • Constituents: Anthraquinone glycosides (incl. Emodin, chrysophanic acid, ale-emodin, cascarosides A, B, C, D, barbaloin, frangulin, chrysaolin, dianthrones, essential oil (rhamnol arachidate), glycosides, bitter anthracense and aloins, resins, lipids, methyl-hydrocotoin

  • Oregon Grape (Mahonia spp.) - Offers antibacterial activty and eases IBS and cleanses the bowels

    • Family:  Barberry family, Berberidaceae    
    • Parts used: Bark, root, and root-like stem
    • Constituents: Oregon grape root contains many alkaloids, including berberine, berbamine, canadine, columbamine, corydine, hydrastine, jatrorrhizine, magnoflorine, and palmatine. Berberine is the primary active chemical constituent and is responsible for the root's yellow color. The alkaloids give the root its bitter taste and are responsible for many of its medicinal properties. The root also contains tannins, which give it an astringent taste and dry up excess secretions in the body     
  • Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale) - a warming, circulatory stimulant and that provides  digestive support

    • Constituents: oleoresin, essential oil min. 1.5% (incl. Zingiberene, bisabolene, phellandrene, camphene, sesquiterpenoid alcohols), pungent compounds (incl. Gingerol, shogaol, gingerdiols, gingerdiones), acetic acid, asmazone, acetate of potash, sulphur, lignin

  • Slippery Elm (Ulmus rubra): known as a trophorestorative and nutritive herb that provides a moistening effect to mucous membranes.  Is also cooling and anti-inflammatory.

    • Constituents: Mucilage up to 50% (incl. polysaccharides), starch, tannins, polyurinides, calcium oxalates, calcium, vitamin C

  • Turkey Rhubarb (Rheum officinale): a mild stimulator

    • Family: Polygonaceae

    • Part(s) used: Root

    • Constituent: anthranoids (glycosides of anthraquinones and dianthrones, and free anthraquinones), tannins (gallotannins, also proanthocyanidins), starch, calcium oxalate. 

  • Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum): protects the liver against toxins

    • Family: Asteraceae

    • Part(s) used: Seeds

    • Constituents: bitter, silibinin, resin, calcium, magnesium 

  • Dandelion Root: help detoxify the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, and blood, and regulate bowel movement
    • Family: Asteraceae
    • Parts Used:  flower, leaves and root   
    • Constituent: The main active compounds of dandelion. Dandelion roots contain mainly sesquiterpene lactones and triterpenes and sterols (taraxasterol, taraxerol, cycloartenol, beta-sitosterol, stigmasterol) [18]. Lactones have a bitter taste and are often an ingredient in products that stimulate digestion.​​​​​​​

Suggested Use: The Bowel Rejuvenator and Vitalizer is to be taken together as a series:

 

Step 1: Take (1) Bottle of the Bowel Rejuvenator: 2 capsules twice a day for 45 days. Once completed, move onto Step 2.

 

Step 2: Take (1) bottle of Bowel Revitalizer: 2 capsules twice a day for 45 days.  Once completed, move onto Step 3. 

 

Step 3: Take (1) bottle of Bowel Rejuvenator: 2 capsules twice a day for 45 days.  Once completed, you have finished the series.

 

The Bowel Rejuvenator and Vitalizer is taken as a series, first the Rejuvenator for 45 days, then the Vitalizer for 45 days and again the Rejuvenator for another 45 days. Then they should both be stopped and taken again only when needed.
