How to Ship an International UPS Order

When an order needs to be shipped outside of the US, the Shipping Coordinator follows this procedure in ShipStation:

 

 

 

TSK- 403 SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL ORDERS IN SHIPSTATION

 

 

 

Prior to 1:15pm Monday through Friday, the Shipping Clerk:

 

 

    1. Navigates to ShipStation

 

    1. Clicks on Orders tab

 

 

 

 

    1. Views “Shipping Paid” and “Requested Service” to determine if package is sent UPS or USPS International (ONLY Canada is shipped USPS Intl)

 

    1. Checks Recipient “Client” box

 

    1. On right side of screen, Clicks “print” packing slip

 

    1. Pulls items from the shelf for order, has manager or other approved staff check order accuracy (TSK 418)

 

    1. Clicks on Order #

 

 

 

 

 

    1. Confirms Harmonization codes have populated

 

 

 

    1. Scrolls to top of screen and confirms address and phone number are entered

 

    1. Enters “Shipping info”

 

        CANADA – USPS OR UPS if specified

 

    1. SERVICE= UPS Worldwide Expedited OR USPS
    2. PACKAGE= Package if using our own box OR Pak if using the UPS Envelope
    3. Do not enter size info
    4. Adds insurance if order is over $300 (70% of product total)

 

  1. Selects ‘Create Label’

 

  1. Navigates to “Shipments”

 

  1. Clicks on icon in Forms column

 

  1. Clicks “Preview in Browser”

 

 

 

 

  1.  Prints declarations form (there will be 3 copies)

 

  1.  Signs and dates each copy

 

  1. Affixes pouch to package and inserts the 3 copies of the declaration form

 

  1. If shipping UPS, put on the table with sign for UPS to pick up or takes package to UPS

 

If shipping USPS, places package in USPS bin for pick-up
