CREATING NEW TASK & PROCEDURE OUTLINES 

 

Task

 

  1. Starts by pulling up Google Doc Spreadsheet “Clinic Task List Control Sheet”.
  2. Opens Dropbox
    • Clicks “NSCC Shared Folder”
    • Clicks “Manual of Procedures”
    • Clicks “Templates”
  3. Opens Task Outline Template
  4. Fills out the corresponding Policy and Procedure number (if applicable)
  5. Creates headers with the Task number and name of task
    • Headers should be 11 point “Tahoma” font, underlined, and in all caps.
  6. Accurately documents tasks step-by-step. Including screenshots when needed.
    • Starts by using action verb and follows with task description
    • Bolds the verb
    • Additional information about the step is to be documented using bullet points
  7. Saves newly documented task or procedure
    • Navigates to “File” à “Save As…”
    • Clicks “Browse”
    • Correctly Names file (be sure to add “TASK” or “PROCEDURE” to the end of the file name)
    • Clicks “NSCC” folder under the Dropbox tab
    • Clicks “Manual of Procedures”
    • Clicks on the correct category where the Task corresponds
    • Clicks “Save”
