Accurately delete and re-do an invoice in InfusionSoft if a mistake was made on an invoice or if the invoice needed to be changed in any way after it was already saved or sent to the client..

Navigate to Slack

Select the ‘duplicate invoice’ channel

Tag Accounting department and ask them to delete the invoice that you need deleted:
Example Script: “Please delete the invoice for NAMEXX from DATEXX for the amount of $XX. Thank you!”

Create and Email the new invoice to the client
If the first invoice was already sent to the client, then change the Subject of the Email for the New Invoice to REVISED Invoice to make the client aware of the updated invoice.

Speak with a Manager for follow-up directions

Either need to add a credit on the account

Or charge the client an additional fee

Notify the Shipping Department of any changes to an invoice that was already paid and submitted to ship station
