CHECKING OUT A CLIENT WITH CARECREDIT
Policy
When an in-person client checks out with CareCredit, the Front Desk associate:
All services purchased via CareCredit, must be used within 30 days. I.E. Clients can purchase a package of 3 Acne Peels if one acne peel was used the same day. Packages over a quantity of 3 cannot be purchased with CareCredit.
Cardholder must be present and present a valid ID at the time of check out.
CareCredit signed receipts must be saved for 7 years from transaction.
Task
When an in-person client checks out with CareCredit, the Front Desk associate:
- Creates quote in IS
- Navigates to CareCredit.com Provider login
- Clicks "New Transaction"
- Either enter Credit Card number if client presents card or "Look Up Account" using Name & Phone Number
- Once in client's account, selects "Submit transaction/refund"
- Selects "Purchase" and "Continue"
- Enters amount from quote in IS
- Selects "102 Standard Account Terms”
- Clicks "Confirm"
- Prints two copies of the receipt. Client signs one receipt and the other receipt is given to the client

Files receipt in file cabinet in the CareCredit file (Copies must be saved for 7 years)
