CHECKING OUT AN OUT OF STOCK ITEM
Policy
- If an Item is Out of Stock, the Item is Picked-up When Back in Stock
- If the Item is Going to Be Picked-up, the Order is Noted in the Backorder Spreadsheet in Google Docs
- If a Client Would Like to Know When an Out of Stock Item is in, it Must Be Paid for. We Do Call Clients to Let Them Know an Item is in Stock Without Payment.

Task
When the client needs to buy a product we do not have in stock, the Front Desk Associate:
-
- Adds the item as normal in the invoice
- Processes payment
- Adds the item as normal in the invoice

- Notifies the client “We will text you when your product arrives:)”
- Navigates to Google Doc Spreadsheet “Client Backorders” (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rlAQVc-6LtaQyi930eXZZzBGQwvm-6zkflmQUQgUm5A/edit#gid=0).
- Completes appropriate info on spreadsheet.
- Notifies the client “We will text you when your product arrives:)”
