CHECKING OUT AN OUT OF STOCK ITEM 

 

Policy

  1. If an Item is Out of Stock, the Item is Picked-up When Back in Stock
  1. If the Item is Going to Be Picked-up, the Order is Noted in the Backorder Spreadsheet in Google Docs
  2. If a Client Would Like to Know When an Out of Stock Item is in, it Must Be Paid for. We Do Call Clients to Let Them Know an Item is in Stock Without Payment.

  1. Notices we are out of stock on a recommended retail product

 

  1. Walks client to front desk after treatment

 

 

  1. Fills out the Checkout Slip

 

  1. Informs FDA of the item out of stock

 

  1. Gives client checkout slip to the Front Desk Associate

 

Front Desk Associate

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Receives Checkout Slip from the Esthetician

 

  1. Notes items we are out of stock on

 

  1. Processes separate order for this item in IS

 

  1. If the paid for out of stock items is being picked up, adds the order to Google Docs Backorder Spreadsheet

 

  1. If the paid for out of stock items is being shipped, adds shipping to the order in Keap

 

  1. Confirms shipping address on file, prior to placing the order!

 

  1. Checks out client for items in stock
     
  2. Texts client when the order comes in

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Task

 

When the client needs to buy a product we do not have in stock, the Front Desk Associate:

 

    1. Adds the item as normal in the invoice
       
    2. Processes payment
       
    1.  Notifies the client “We will text you when your product arrives:)”
       
    2. Navigates to Google Doc Spreadsheet “Client Backorders” (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rlAQVc-6LtaQyi930eXZZzBGQwvm-6zkflmQUQgUm5A/edit#gid=0)
       
    3. Completes appropriate info on spreadsheet.
