Troubleshooting Technical Issues With Label Printer

Policy

 

  1. If the basic troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, Management is to be notified immediately.

 

  1. Technical issues are never to be left unresolved.

 

  1. If a manager is not available, call the support phone number for the label printer.

 

 

Task 

 

 

When Label Printer does not print, the Shipping Clerk:

 

 

    1. Turns Off Printer (On/Off Button is in the back of printer) Wait 30 seconds

 

    1. Turns On Printer

 

    1. Reprints Label in Shipstation: Reprinting a Packing Slip or Shipping Label
      • If this does not work, then Proceed to Step 4

 

    1. Holds Down Blue-Black Button w/ Green Light On Top of Printer Until the Green Light goes Through a series of 5 Blinks
      • This Will do a Reset and Alignment of Printer.
      • It will Print Out a Few Labels with Testing Printed
      • If this does not work, then Proceed to Step 5

 

    1. Call Technical Support at 877 275 9327
