For products sold in your store:

  • First, add the new product to Shopify.
  • Then, run a variant sync in Inventory Planner to pull in the new information.
  • To do this, click on the "Sync" button at the bottom left of your screen, then select "Variants sync".
  • Search for the new product you just added to the store to ensure it synced to IP.

To Add the Variant/Product to the Vendor:

  • Click on Catalog
  • Click on Vendors
  • Click on the Settings/Variant link under the Vendor you would like to add the variant to
  • Click on Variants
  • Click on the Green + Variant to Vendor icon on the bottom of the page
  • Click on the box for the variant/product you would like to add
  • Click on Apply

  1. For items not yet in your store but needed on a purchase order:
    • Use the "Add non-existing product" button when creating a purchase order.

Remember, it's best to create new products in your store first and then sync them to Inventory Planner for seamless integration.
