In the event the client or coach needs to add a last minute product to an order that was recently processed, we never want to edit or change the first order once it has been paid. In this case, a new order needs to be created.
First confirm that the order has not yet been shipped.
Since the orders will be combined, you will remove the shipping from the second order that is being created.
Log into Keap
Search for the client's name
Click on Orders
Click on Add Quote
Enter the product that you are adding
Make sure you add the shipping cost. Click on Shipping.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Even though we are not going to charge the client shipping for the second order, shipping MUST be added, otherwise it will not sync to ShipStation.
Then click on Discount and add the cost for shipping. This will remove the shipping cost, but the order will sync to ShipStation.
Click on Place Order
Remember to pay for the order:
Click on the Order and then click Add Payment
Choose the same date as the day you are paying the invoice
Choose Payment Type: Credit Card (charge now)
Choose the credit card on file and click on Apply Payment
