How and When to Order the Supplies Needed to Maintain Shipping

Supplies need to be ordered frequently to maintain Shipping.

 

All logins to the accounts for the vendors that we order Supplies from, can be found in the Orders LastPass Account. 

 

Supplies Vendors:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • ULINE
  • Amazon

 

Supplies consist of: 

 

  • Envelopes & Boxes  (Flat Rate & Express)

These are ordered from USPS.com and are free

 

  • Envelopes (Used for First Class Orders - Thick Padded), Crinkle Cut Paper, Large Boxes & the small white Boxes 

These are ordered through ULINE and are NOT free. Order in 100's. per box is more cost effective

 

  • Labels (See notes below) and UPS Shipping materials (Express Packs, Express Envelopes & Shipping Documentation Envelopes/Pouches),

These are ordered with UPS and are free

 

This is ordered through Amazon and does cost. 

  • Tape (packing & electrical) 
  • Bubble Wrap: Can reuse from vendors
  • printing paper
  • Toner


Any other supplies must be approved by management before ordering. 
 

Helpful Notes/Tips for Ordering Supplies:

  1. There is a Trello card that pops up every few days telling you to order supplies, and what to order. 
  2. Also, a helpful method is that when you get down to about 400 USPS priority order another 900.
  3. UPS Labels: Blank WorldShip Labels. 320 per roll. 1.5 inch core. 01774006 - 4" x 6.25": Order when you are down to 4 rolls
