All Products need to be secured for shipment. Liquids and Glass Bottles are prone to break and leak.
Thus, this document will explain how to prevent these occurrences with Proper Packing methods.
Glass Bottles and other fragile items need to be wrapped in either bubble or foam wrapping, then taped to prevent damage.
These items include:
- CH Bottled Serums
- SPF Sunscreens
Before taping, be sure to tighten the top/lid of the bottle.
Foam and bubble wrapping can be found in the plastic drawers underneath the table next to the computer, or in the large box in the front of the suite.
Other items need to be taped to prevent leakage and damage.
These items include:
- CH/FR Toners and liquids
- Body Washes
- Shampoos and Conditioners
Don't use paper or packing peanuts for proper packing. Paper does not protect well, and packing peanuts are a mess. Use Bubble and Foam wrap.
FR Toners are notorious in our World for leaking and arriving at the clients, damaged. To circumvent this, we have found the following methods work best.
Place a long piece of electrical tape across the bottle covering the open tab. Press this piece down to the bottle.
Place a long piece of packing tape around the lid/top of the bottle so that it circles around and covers the separation between the lid/top of the bottle to the remainder of the bottle.
This will leave a bit of unused tape at the top of the lid. Press this part of the tape down onto the lid/top of the bottle so that it covers the open tab and piece of the electrical tape.
