The Shipping Clerk is to validate the shipping address.
Most orders will come into SS with validated addresses. However, some will not.
SS will populate an orange or red text on the order if the address is unverified.
- Click “Validate Address” in SS right underneath the address listing if the address is unverified.
Some tips on how to find/verify the correct address:
- Apartment/Unit Numbers: You may need to move these into the first address line if it is not validating, and add “APT” before the number.
- Check to make sure Dr. Cir. Ave. St. etc. are all abbreviated correctly.
- Check past orders
- Check Keap
- If none of the above work to validate the address, place the order On Hold until the shipping address is confirmed with the client.
- APO/Military addresses: Select AE from the state drop down, if not populated.
