Types of Acne
1. Inflamed- consists of papules, pustules, nodules and cysts. Inflamed acne is inflamed. It is characterized by:

swollen

warm/hot to the touch

sometimes painful

bleeds easily with extractions

usually the fastest to clear!
2. Non-inflamed- consists of blackheads (open comedones), closed comedones and whiteheads. It has a dull, bumpy appearance. One can feel non-inflamed acne by touching the skin more than they can see it.
