How to Create a Manual Order in Shopify for a Client

Replacements are sent in cases where the client received a damaged product(s), or an order was lost in transit, and not received by the client.  

 

Please Note: The client does not pay anything for their replacement.  

 

1.  Log into Shopify

 

2. Click on Orders

 

3. Enter the client/customer's name, and this will pull up their contact information, and shipping address.  

 

4.  Search and click on the product(s) that you are replacing.

 

5.  Click on Estimated Tax

 

6.  Unclick the Charge Taxes box and then click Apply

 

7.  Click on Add Shipping

 

8.  Click on Free Shipping and then click Apply

 

9.  Click on Add Discount and enter the amount of the replacement product(s)

 

10.  Include a Reason for the Discount: REPLACEMENT and click Apply

 

11.  You should end up with a ZERO dollar order with No Taxes and Free Shipping

 

12.  Click on Collect Payment

 

13.  Click on Mark as Paid and then click Create Order

 

14.  Finally, click on Create Shipping Label
