Here are some suggestions for when you travel:

Double check the liquid amount that you can fly with per bottle, just to make sure. I believe it is 3.4 ounces, or 100 Milliliters  If this is the case, the only products you will need to transfer to a travel bottle are your washes and toner.  For your toner, you can add some cotton rounds to a plastic baggie and then add some toner to the baggie. That way, it saves space, and your cotton rounds are ready for use!  I also suggest taping the top of your containers and the area where the container screws off, to ensure there is no leakage from this area.  Unfortunately, there is no control over what the pressure from the plane can do, so try and secure your products as best as you can.

Some other tips for traveling:

  • Bring your own pillow case, wash clothes and towels, to ensure you are using material that has been washed with acne safe detergent.
  • Bring your own acne safe hair care. You can transfer these to the travel size bottles, as well.  Or buy a small bottle of acne safe Shampoo and Conditioner when you get to your destination.
  • Bring your own ice pack, or borrow one when you get to your destination.  If you prefer not to travel with one, or can't borrow one, I would suggest purchasing a cheap one, or using ice cubes wrapped in a cloth, or several baggies. As a reminder, you do not want to apply ice cubes directly to the skin.
  • If you will do laundry during your travels, pack a couple of laundry pods, if applicable or purchase a small bottle of acne safe laundry detergent when you get to your destination.
  • Try to avoid using towels on your face if you are unsure whether it's been washed with acne safe detergent.
  • Remember to drink A LOT of water.
  • Remember to apply your sunscreen several times throughout the day, as needed.
  • Remember to take your supplements.  You could set an alarm to help you remember.
  • Pack your supplements in a travel pill organizer.

As for food, just do the best you can. :) We don't want you to stress over this, especially since you are on vacation, and should be enjoying yourself.  Having said that, don't go too wild! :)  I encourage you to try the 99c pizza, but just don't eat an entire pie!  Be mindful of how much dairy, seafood, peanuts you are consuming, but also don't stress about wondering what is in everything you are eating.  Food triggers are pretty straightforward, and tend to show up in the cheek area about 24-48 hours of consumption, so keep an eye out on your skin.  Travel can offer additional stressors and usually throws people off track a bit, so keep that in mind as well.  But not to worry, if there is anything we need to tackle as a result of your travels, we'll worry about that when you return. ;)

Please let me know if you have any other questions, or concerns.

Otherwise, have a WONDERFUL time!!
